Another chilling thandai (milkshake) on a hot summer day.
Badam - Saunf - Shahad Thandai - बादाम - सौंफ - शहद की ठंडाई (Almonds - Fennel Seeds - Honey Milkshake)
Badam (Almonds) - 15
Saunf (Fennel Seeds) - 1.5 tsp
Shahad (Honey) - 4 tbsps (reduce or increase per your liking)
Milk - 2 cups (I used 2% milk)
Malai (Whipped Cream) Optional
- Soak badam in hot water for about an hour and peel them before blending.
- Grind badam and saunf first in a grinder with just little milk nicely.
- Then add everything else and blend them till nice and rich and frothy.
- Garnish it with some malai (whipped cream) if you like.
Serve it anytime of the day without any guilt on a hot summer day. And guess what, serve it anytime of the day with just a change of adding hot milk on a cold winter day :)
