Guest Hosting "Tried & Tasted" Event featuring my favorite blog "US Masala"

Hello Friends,

I am so happy that Lakshmi of Kitchen Chronicles contacted me few days ago to host this event at a short notice. I am sure most of you are familiar with the event called Tried & Tasted or which in short we call T & T. This is an event, which was originally started by Zlamushka's Spicy Kitchen and now is owned by Lakshmi of Kitchen Chronicles

Now, let me tell you the reason of my happiness. Of course, I am happy as I am hosting the event, but wait there is more. It is mainly because I am featuring my favorite blog of very good friend Aipi. The blog is something I am sure almost all of you are familiar with and love it already. Her blog name is called US Masala. She has the most amazing recipes and highlight of her blog (per me) are her mouth watering, delicious and beautiful, drool-worthy and stunning (I am running out of adjectives) pictures. If you have never visited her blog, you are missing on something. I have already tried a few from her blog and will be sharing that soon.

So, friends, what are you waiting for. Head over heels to US Masala and start whipping out some of her delicious recipes. Here are simple rules:

  1. Cook any recipe(s) from US Masala and post about it. Stay as true to the original recipe(s) as possible. Therefore, there is no need for re-posting it, simply link to the original post :-)
  2. You can cook any of her recipes, irrespective of when it was posted by her.
  3. Have you cooked from US Masala before? As this event is all about tasting and reflecting on the taste, older posts are also welcome.
  4. Link your post to this event announcement page (feel free to use the logo which will be up soon) and to the original post from which you are cooking of US Masala blog.  Please always link to both sites, so both blogs are given credit and you are avoiding copyright fuss.
  5. Send me an e-mail (priya.mitharwal@gmail.com) with Subject : T&T Feb 2011, your name, your post URL as well as the original URL and a picture.
  6. Deadline is the March 20th, 2011 and the round up will be posted within a week.
  7. Non-bloggers are more than welcome to participate (after all, our posts are mainly being written for them). Simply e-mail me with your experience of what you cooked and please include a picture.
I am excited and already making a list of what all I will be cooking from her blog and believe me the list is long. So, what are you waiting for, rush and make your own list.

That's all for now. Take care till next post.

  17. Isn't USMasala owned by Puja? No Aipi? That's probably why she locked it down...someone pretending to steal her work.
