Hello friends,
Here I am with another Tried and Tasted recipes from a fellow blogger friend. When Dear Sayali posted this recipe, I knew I wanted to make it right away and bookmarked it. I make it slightly differently, so wanted to try her version :)
I had these sabut masoor dal (Whole Brown Lentils) lurking or shall I sitting somewhere in the backside for a while (close to 4 months, yep, shameful, right?). So, I thought of giving them mukti (Moksh)... ha ha ha... and prepared this wonderful looking Sabut Masoor Ki Sabzi - साबुत मसूर की सब्जी (Whole Brown Lentils Curry).
I have used Sayali's recipe almost word to word except for adding Onion and Garlic Powder as I did not have it. I just finished making it and could not wait to brag about it.
Sayali, it has become my personal favorite curry/dal combo from now on. I ate it to taste the dish and then could not stop myself from taking it in a bowl and eating it all up (just the bowl, not the entire thing...lol).
I am sending this to Nupur's BB4 as well because this made me dig into old forgotten stuff in my pantry :)
I am also sending this to Healing Foods - Onions event hosted by Priya and started by Siri and MLLA # 24 hosted by Diana and started by Susan.
That's all for now. Take care till my next post.
looks yummy and colorful
