I had sprouted some hari moong (Green Gram) to make into some Hari Moong Ka Cheela. So, I was left with few leftover sprouted moong (meaning they sprouted as they were left in referigerator). I thought of a real good use of it and made it into this really healthy green gram salad.
I am sure you all make a version of it at your home. This is such a perfect thing for this summer when you can just pull some sprouted moong from fridge and make it right before your lunch and enjoy it real cold.
Sprouted Moong (Green Gram) Salad
Ingredients
Sprouted Moong - 1 cup
Onions - 1/4 cup chopped finely (increase or decrease the quantity based on your liking)
Tomatoes - 1/4 cup chopped finely (increase or decrease the quantity based on your liking)
Green Chillies - 1-2 chopped finely (I used 1/2 tsp red chilli powder instead)
Chat Masala - 1/2 tsp (optional)
Salt - as per taste
Lemon Juice - as per taste
Preparation
Toss everything together in a bowl.
Serving
Serve it in a bowl as a cold salad right before you have your lunch/dinner or as a healthy snack in the afternoon. Alternatively, this can also be eaten as a chaat as back in my place, we get those "bhaiyas" selling it as a nice yummy chaat.
I am sending this for Healthy Inspirations - Salads hosted by Usha and Serve Me Some Salads hosted by Madhuri.
Also, sending it to Vegetable Marathon - Beans event hosted by Anita and MLLA # 22 event hosted by Ruchika.
Also sending this recipe to Let's Sprout event of Priya and Iftar Moments: Hijri 1431 event of Ayeesha.
Till next post, take care and have a wonderful night and weekend.
